Unified protection for high-demand decks.

DriveDeck is a polyurea waterproofing system engineered for pedestrian and vehicular decks where outstanding weathering, toughness, fast cure times, and solvent resistance are essential — manufactured by Multicoat and delivered through The Garland Company’s national network of local representatives.

What is DriveDeck?

One seamless membrane between the weather and your structure.

DriveDeck is a multi-layer polyurea traffic coating system applied over concrete decks. Once cured, it forms a monolithic, seamless membrane that waterproofs difficult details and protects the concrete structure — and the vulnerable steel within it — from moisture, salts, and chlorides carried in by traffic.

Every polyurea component is aliphatic for long-term UV resistance, and the low-odor chemistry makes DriveDeck a fit for occupied and odor-sensitive settings such as campuses, hospitals, and busy metro areas.

How the program works

From first conversation to finished deck.

DriveDeck pairs a national representative network with a dedicated manufacturer support team, so owners always know who is standing behind the work.

Talk with your Garland rep

Every DriveDeck project starts with The Garland Company’s local representative, who knows your building and your market.

Your rep submits the project

The rep registers your deck project with Multicoat through the DriveDeck project portal.

Multicoat’s team engages

Multicoat’s technical sales support team steps in — site walk-throughs, deck assessment, scope of work, budget, and material quote.

Installed and warranted

A licensed contractor installs the system to Multicoat’s specifications, backed by a limited materials warranty of up to 5+5 years.

The System

Four layers. One integrated system.

The complete DriveDeck system is a multi-layer coating applied over a concrete deck — each product engineered to work with the others, from a single manufacturer.

  2. 2
    D-Prime

Two-part epoxy primer layer that bonds the system and retards moisture vapor.

  3. 3
    D-Guard

100% solids, monolithic waterproofing base layer.

  4. 4
    D-Grip with aggregate

The durable, impact- and wear-resistant high-solids wearing course.

Polyurea, by the numbers.

Deck coatings aren’t all the same chemistry. DriveDeck’s hybrid polyurea elastomer is built for movement, wear, and real-world site conditions.
